The First World Congress of Paediatric Ophthalmology and Strabismus invites you to
participate as a sponsor. The Congress will be in conjunction with the XXVII Congress of the
ESCRS (12 – 16 September) in Barcelona, Spain from September 12 – 13 2009. There is an
expected attendance of 1,000 ophthalmologists to the First World Congress of Paediatric
Ophthalmology and Strabismus.

The sponsorship opportunities for the First World Congress of Paediatric
Ophthalmology and Strabismus are as follows:
Each registered attendee will receive conference materials in a tote bag that they can carry during the entire meeting and beyond. The sponsor's name and logo will appear on 1,000 bags. Each bag will include a pen and a notepad also featuring the sponsor's logo.
The sponsor’s logo will appear on all delegate lanyards. The sponsor’s logo will also appear on every
official delegate badge. These will be given out at the registration desk and are the official badges for
the Congress.
All delegates will be treated to food and drinks while being entertained by a live band. The sponsor’s
logo will appear around the venue and on all the cocktail napkins.
An E newsletter will be e mailed every month to registered delegates, providing them with updated
information on the programme and events.

Satellite Symposia are held in the Congress Centre outside the time of the main scientific
programme. All symposia are sponsored by Industry, and scientific programmes are agreed between
the sponsor and EuroTimes.
